Why riding boots?
Riding boots are very important for riding for several good reasons.
Protection:
Riding boots protect the legs from chafing, dirt, and potential injuries from branches, twigs, or other obstacles when riding off-road. They also offer protection in case of falls or accidents.
Grip and stability: They ensure a firm hold in the stirrup, which improves balance and control while riding. This is particularly important for a safe and effective seat.
Comfort:
Well-fitting riding boots are comfortable and support freedom of movement, so you feel comfortable while riding.
Optics:
Riding boots give a neat and professional appearance, which is often desired at tournaments and during training.
Function:
They are specially designed for the demands of riding, e.g. with reinforced areas to protect the foot and leg, as well as with a suitable heel shape that makes holding the stirrup easier.
In short:
Riding boots are an important part of riding equipment because they offer safety, comfort and control while riding.
What is the difference between dressage and jumping boots?
The difference between dressage and show jumping boots lies primarily in design, function, and fit.
Here's a friendly overview:
Dressage boots:
Design: These boots are usually long, smooth and elegant, often made of smooth leather.
Shaft: The shaft is usually straight and reaches just below the knee, sometimes a little higher.
Heel: The heel is usually flat or slightly raised to promote an elegant posture.
Function: They are designed to support good posture and an elegant appearance in dressage riding. They offer sufficient support and are comfortable for extended periods of sitting.
Spring boots:
Design: These boots are often more robust and functional, sometimes with increased stability and reinforced areas. They can be made of leather or durable synthetic materials.
Shaft: The shaft is usually somewhat shorter and may have special lacing or zippers to make it easier to put on and take off.
Heel: The heel is often slightly higher and more pronounced to provide better grip when jumping. Function: They are designed to offer stability when jumping, allow freedom of movement, and keep the foot securely in the stirrup.
In short: Dressage boots tend to be elegant and simple, while jumping boots are more functional and often more robust. Both are specifically designed to meet the demands of their respective disciplines. If you'd like to know more, we're happy to help!
What should the outer surface of the shaft be like? Hard, medium, or soft?
It depends entirely on your needs; a hard shaft offers more stability and support, while a soft shaft offers more freedom of movement and flexibility.
What type of sole does EUROBOOTS LUX offer?
Standard is an all-round sole.
Vibram is a very high-quality sole.
Davos is a rubber sole that rounds off the front of the boot.
The winter sole is slightly thicker and non-slip.
Zipper or lacing?
Lace-up boots offer the greatest comfort and maximum flexibility.
Our best experience with boots that only have zippers is with the zipper on the inside front. The zipper is virtually invisible, sitting on the inside of the boot without touching the saddle. This design offers the most comfortable entry and the highest durability.
The second most common style we offer is the front zipper, the polo boot style. Visually elegant and durable, this style requires more room at the top of the foot, as this is the only way to ensure comfortable entry.
The least frequently recommended option is the back zipper. Experience has shown that the back zipper is subject to a great deal of stress. Movement and creasing are most pronounced, which is why even high-quality zippers don't offer the same durability in this area.
What types of lacing are there for boots?
The lacing can go all the way up the shaft or only at the ankle joint; this is called short lacing.
Short lacing allows more freedom at the ankle; this type of lacing is often used for jumping boots.
For the lacing, hooks or eyes?
Riding boots come with both eyelets and hooks, and both have their advantages. Eyelets are often easier to open and close, making them quicker to put on and take off. Hooks, on the other hand, sometimes offer a more secure hold and are particularly popular with certain boot styles because they ensure a more secure fastening. Ultimately, it depends on the style of the boot and your personal preference.
Which polo buckle should I use on my riding boot?
The small polo buckle goes over the zipper and prevents the saddle from being damaged.
The middle polo buckle is also for the zipper and keeps the lacing more stable.
In addition to its previous functions, the large polo buckle also serves an aesthetic purpose.
Why wear spore protection?
The spur guard serves to protect the boot from scratches and wear caused by the spurs and also prevents the spurs from slipping.
What types of leather does EUROBOTS LUX offer?
We offer nubuck, suede, patent leather and smooth leather.
What different patterns does EUROBOOTS LUX offer?

Does EUROBOOTS LUX also offer embroidery and initials on the riding boots?

Can EUROBOOTS LUX also attach rhinestones to riding boots?
Of course, rhinestones can also be added.
We offer these in various colors and variations.
What is the difference between smooth, lacquered, nubuck, and crocodile/snake imitations?
Smooth leather:
It is a natural leather and is characterized by its softness, suppleness, durability and breathability.
It is a robust and durable material, making it very suitable for riding boots. It also has an elegant appearance. The smooth surface of the leather makes it dirt-repellent, which simplifies maintenance. With proper care, it is quite long-lasting.
Patent leather:
This is a leather that undergoes a special process to achieve a glossy to high-gloss appearance. It has a shiny, transparent, mirror-smooth, and uniform surface.
Nubuck leather:
Nubuck leather is made from the outermost layer of the hide, which is sanded to create a rough, almost velvety surface. It is soft, breathable, and comfortable to wear. Nubuck leather is sensitive to moisture and dirt, prone to stains, and can be damaged by UV radiation, therefore requiring special care.
Crocodile and snake imitation:
It is usually made from various materials designed to mimic the look and texture of genuine crocodile or snakeskin.
